NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

I was looking out for a sheer and moisturising base at the beginning of the year because my skin was being a pain and I couldn't wear foundation. I tried using the Garnier BB Cream again but then it started to clog my pores just like before ( that's why I stopped using it in the first place). I was on the hunt for something I could use on a daily basis that would just even out my skin tone (I have a lot of redness) and I don't need it to conceal much. I also needed something that had an SPF in it cause I didn't want to have to use sunscreen plus another base on top. Too lazy for that.
I wanted to buy the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation for like a year or longer already but since my skin was being dry I figured it wasn't a good idea. I then remembered that Nars has a tinted moisturiser but it's never raved about so I didn't really think it was that great. Slowly I started doing some research on it and it seemed pretty safe. ( Safe = won't break me out) IT ALSO HAS AN SPF OF 30/PA +++!!!
I decided to get it and since the coverage is like barely there, the shades don't really matter. I was matched to Alaska (Light 2). It costs like 66 SGD for 1.9Oz, which is more that your average foundation bottle. The average foundation bottles usually hold 1 Oz of product~

This product claims to help reduce the appearance of hyper pigmentation and dark spots in 4 weeks. ( according to the Nars website)
I'm honestly not very sure because I never really cared to take notice HAHAHA my dark spots have lighten but I'm not sure if it's because of this particular product.
This product doesn't clog my pores, that's for sure. It's lighter (in consistency and coverage) than a BB cream in my opinion. It feels like a normal moisturiser with tinge of colour but when you blend it out the colour kinda like sinks into your skin and you're just left with a more even skin tone. It doesn't cover really dark spots though. And it's not high coverage like a foundation.
This product is really dewy and I usually set it with any translucent powder I find laying around. If I don't set it, it will just have that sticky feeling especially if it's a super hot day. However, on days where my skin is extra dry, I won't use as much powder to set.
This product is quite long lasting considering the weather and humidity in Singapore however, just like other BB creams, I do notice some transfer when I blot my face with a paper napkin or tissue. But it's nothing serious~
I have been using this non stop for almost 2 months now. If I could compare it to another product it would be like the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua just not as much coverage but more moisturising and liquid-y.

I think I would repurchase this when it runs out because it's so easy to apply and blend and it does not irritate my skin. (I use my fingers to blend it ☺)
Unless I find something better of course! The price tag is quite steep but I guess you can't have everything.

Hope this was useful to someone! ☺

Current contents of my make up pouch- April 2014

Hi hi I just felt like sharing what is currently residing in my make up pouch for those who like to kpo like me HAHAHA
I used to not have a make up pouch but I find that it's much easier than walking up and down from my mirror to my make up storage table so I just put everything I usually use in this pouch.
I don't use them all on an everyday basis but these are the products that have been in my make up pouch for the past few months! I don't even use some but they're just in there just in case~

Daiso Sponge Detergent

Hey hey!
Sharing the best brush cleanser in the whole world~

This daiso sponge detergent was recommended to me by an anon on my blog a few months ago to try on my beauty blender. The beauty blender can be really hard to clean sometimes and so are foundation brushes.
I decided to give this a try since it was only 2 bucks and if I didn't like it, I would only have wasted 2 dollars so I figured why not.
This detergent is amazing. I got addicted to cleaning my beauty blender HAHA cause the results were wow. And it doesn't have that soapy feeling after washing, which I appreciate.

I wondered if I could use this for my brushes as well so I tried and omg it worked so well!!!

Here's some pictures of my blush brush + powder brush

The lighting is quite bad but it's so super clean in real life.
I have this paranoia that my brushes will still have soap residue on them so I usually take 5 minutes just to RINSE one brush. This product doesn't have that soapy feeling which is what I love about it.

I use my Mac brush cleanser for spot cleaning (eye liner brushes etc) but for my face brushes, this is what I use.

Give it a try! :)

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack

Hi everyone, today I wanna share with you my favourite overnight mask.
I had a period where I had really dehydrated skin (actually my skin is still kinda dehydrated but it's not bad anymore, it's just cause I haven't been drinking water hahaha ) and I was looking for a product that could help.

My cousin introduced this mask for me and she ordered it for me. I'm not sure where she got it from but they sell it at all laneige counters.
To be honest, when I first used this on my super dry and dehydrated skin, it did sting a little, but the pain will subside. I fell in love with this the first time I used this.
This is a sleeping mask, which means you put it on before you sleep and you just sleep with it. It is a gel like consistency and you're not supposed to rub it in. You just apply it like how you would a normal clay mask etc and just leave it.
The way your skin feels the next morning is amazing.
I also love the smell of this product. Super nice!
I'm not sure how much this product is but I think its bout 40+ SGD if I'm not wrong.
It comes in a jar and you don't use much at once. I haven't even used half and I've been using it for months!
Really recommend this for people with all skin types because it's really hydrating.

That's all for now!

Lots of love,
Alexandria
